About us
TeamTorri was set up to raise funds and give something back while our daughter Torri was going through the cancer journey. Now, it is in memorial to Torri designed to raise money to help other local families affected by childhood cancer.
Since it was created in 2018, TeamTorri has raised more that £150,000. This money which has been shared with local charities and organisations that treat children with cancer and support loved ones along with supporting vital research, including Children with Cancer UK, Teddy20, Stars Appeal (Salisbury Hospital), Southampton Children’s Cancer Ward Piam Brown, Julia’s House Children’s Hospice and Young Lives Versus Cancer. Now, we are also directly identifying and supporting families who are on their own childhood cancer journey.
About Torri
Torri was just seven years old when she was diagnosed with with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). What followed was a five year journey that no child or parent should ever have to endure. At such a young age, Torri received countless treatments, robbing her of a normal childhood. Despite this, those around her always made sure she had a myriad of fun and wonderful experiences, all of which Torri fully embraced. Throughout her journey, Torri also continued to dance and she was a talented and passionate ballerina. She was also a wonderful sister and a great friend to many but, perhaps more than anything, Torri became an inspiration to so many. Everyone who encountered her or heard of her story, took inspiration from her unbelievable strength. When Torri passed away on the 18th July 2023, what she left behind was an incredible legacy of love, courage and community, a legacy that will live on through TeamTorri Fundraising.

Our trustees
TeamTorri Charity Fundraising was set up by Torri's mother Natalie Stranger-Speer in 2025. It is supported by two of Natalie's closest friends, Charlotte Moore and Kirsty Hutchins, who are proud to be trustees for the charity.
